Numbers 14
Your Words Becomes Your Own Burden,
If You Doubt God's Word
Jeremiah 23:33 And when this people, or the prophet, or a priest, shall ask thee,
saying, What is the burden of the LORD? thou shalt then say unto them,
What burden? I will even forsake you, saith the LORD.
- Good reading Deuteronomy 1
- What is the burden of the LORD?
- I am against them that blame Me
- How many people blame God, for their problems?
- God said, Keep My Commandments and I will be with you
- When God told the children of Israel to go into the promise
land, what did they do?
- They did not believe God, They sent men to spy out the land.
- After God told them not to go into the promise land, they
said = Now we will go into the promise land.
- The end times are going to be as the days of Noah = What did
Noah do?
-
Genesis
6:22 Thus did
Noah; according to all that God commanded
him, so did he.
-
How many went into the promise land in that
generation?
-
Verse 24 = Only Caleb and verse 38 Joshua
-
Number 14:29 from twenty years old
and upward, which have murmured against me will not go into the
promise land
-
Because they didn't do as God told them to do.
-
What did God tell us?
-
Blessed are those that wait on Me
-
2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself
approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to
be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
-
Revelation 9:4 And it
was commanded them (Satan and his angels) that they should not hurt the
grass
(flesh) of the
earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but
only those
men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads.
-
Deuteronomy 1:41 Then ye answered and said unto
me, We have sinned against the Lord, we will go
up and fight, according to all that the Lord our
God commanded us. And when ye had girded on
every man his weapons of war, ye were
ready to go up into the hill.
42 And the Lord said unto me, Say unto
them, Go not up, neither fight; for I am not
among you; lest ye be smitten before your
enemies.
-
2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself
approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to
be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
-
Did God said, follow man that go out and act
stupid?
-
If you are listening to most of the media, you
are following Satan
-
4th trumpet = It's to make a choice, choose to follow God or Satan
-
The Seal of God In
Your Forehead
is the opposite of The mark of the beast
-
The
Seal of God in your forehead = The truth of God's word in your
forehead vs
the mark of beast (Satan,
false deception) in your forehead the deception of false
teaching and the tradition of man in your forehead. (What happen
in the garden? Satan Deceived Eve BY LIES)
Colossians 2:8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy
and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments
of the world, and not after Christ.
2 Corinthians 11:3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the
serpent (Satan) beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so
your minds
should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.
4 For if
he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom
we have not
preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not
received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye
might well bear with him.
Simply by removing the deception of
false teaching and tradition of men and placing the Word of God in your
forehead.
Numbers 14:1 And all the congregation lifted up their voice, and cried;
and the people wept that night.
2 And all the children of Israel murmured against Moses and against
Aaron: and the whole congregation said unto them, Would God that we had
died in the land of Egypt! or would God we had died in this wilderness!
-
These saw God open the red sea, now they're
murmured against Moses and God
-
They didn't believe God, they are listen to men
-
God told them He was going to give them this
land, and He would go with them
-
When Satan appears in Jerusalem, are you going
to follow God's Ways or You going to follow
Satan?
-
Satan's going to pay all your bills, give you
anything IF you worship him.
3 And wherefore hath the Lord brought us unto this land, to fall by the
sword, that our wives and our children should be a prey? were it not
better for us to return into Egypt?
-
When things didn't go their ways, what did they
say?
-
It's would of been better for us to return into
Egypt = the easy way out
-
When the 5th trumpet sounds, are you going to
believe God and wait for God to tell us what to
do?
-
God said, Elijah will come and lead the people
back to Him, and the two witnesses will be with
the elect.
-
They just witness the Red Sea open, and they
were complaining, they wanted things to go their
ways
-
Don't get catch up with the ways of the world,
they will be following Satan
-
You got to believe God's going to be with us,
remember Job, Daniel, etc..
-
You're going to go through tribulations
4 And they said one to another, Let us make a captain, and let us return
into Egypt.
5 Then Moses and Aaron fell on their faces before all the assembly of
the congregation of the children of Israel.
6 And Joshua the son of Nun, and Caleb the son of Jephunneh, which were
of them that searched the land, rent their clothes:
-
Caleb = Capable
-
Forcible = Possessing force; characterized by
force, efficiency, or energy; powerful;
efficacious; impressive; influential.
-
Joshua = Saviour, or whose help is God
-
Caleb and Joshua were a type of God's very elect at this time
-
1 Corinthians 10:11 Now all these things
happened unto them for ensamples: and they are
written for our admonition, upon whom
the ends of the world are come.
7 And they spake unto all the company of the children of Israel, saying,
The land, which we passed through to search it, is an exceeding good
land.
8 If the Lord delight in us, then He will bring us into this land, and
give it us; a land which floweth with milk and honey.
9 Only rebel not ye against the Lord, neither fear ye the people of the
land; for they are bread for us: their defence is departed from them,
and the Lord is with us: fear them not.
-
Once the 5th trump sounds are you going to be
as Caleb and Joshua?
-
What did God tell Satan and his angels?
-
Revelation 9:4 And it was commanded them (Satan
and hid fallen angels) that they should not hurt
the grass of the earth, neither any green thing,
neither any tree; but only
those men which
have not the
seal of God in their
foreheads.
5 And to them it was given that they should not
kill them, but that they should be tormented
five months: and their torment was
as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a
man.
6 And in those days shall
men seek death, and
shall not find it; and shall
desire to die, and death shall flee from
them.
-
Why do the seek death?
-
They don't have the seal of God in their
forehead = They don't know what's happen or what
to do.
10 But all the congregation bade stone them with stones. And the
glory
of the Lord appeared in the tabernacle of the congregation before
all
the children of Israel.
-
All the congregation bade stone them with stones
11 And the Lord said unto Moses, How long will this people provoke me?
and how long will it be ere they believe me, for
all the signs which I
have shewed among them?
-
How long will this people provoke me?
12 I will smite them with the pestilence, and disinherit them, and
will
make of thee a greater nation and mightier than they.
13 And Moses said unto the Lord, Then the Egyptians shall hear it, (for
thou broughtest up this people in thy might from among them;)
-
Moses said unto the Lord, Then the Egyptians
shall hear it
14 And they will tell it to the inhabitants of this land: for they have
heard that thou Lord art among this people, that thou Lord art seen face
to face, and that thy cloud standeth over them, and that thou goest
before them, by day time in a pillar of a cloud, and in a pillar of fire
by night.
15 Now if thou shalt kill all this people as one man, then the nations
which have heard the fame of thee will speak, saying,
16 Because the Lord was not able to bring this people into the land
which he sware unto them, therefore he hath slain them in the
wilderness.
17 And now, I beseech thee, let the power of my Lord be great, according
as thou hast spoken, saying,
18 The Lord is longsuffering, and of great mercy, forgiving iniquity and
transgression, and by no means clearing the guilty, visiting the
iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth
generation.
19 Pardon, I beseech thee, the iniquity of this people according unto
the greatness of thy mercy, and as thou hast forgiven this people, from
Egypt even until now.
20 And the Lord said, I have pardoned according to thy word:
21 But as truly as I live, all the earth shall be filled with the glory
of the Lord.
22 Because all those men which have seen my glory, and my miracles,
which I did in Egypt and in the wilderness, and have tempted me now
these ten times, and have not hearkened to my voice;
-
Exodus 14:11-12 - At Red Sea
-
Exodus 15:23-24 - At Marah
-
Exodus 16:2 - Wilderness of Sin
-
Exodus 16:20-27 - Twice about Manna
-
Exodus 16:20-27 - Twice about Manna
-
Exodus 17:1-3 At Rephidim
-
Exodus 32 - At Horeb (golden calf)
-
Numbers 11:1 - At Taberah
-
Numbers 11:1 - At Kibroth Hattaavah
-
Numbers 14:2 - Here, At Kadesh
23 Surely they shall not see the land which I sware unto their fathers,
neither shall any of them that provoked me see it:
24 But my servant Caleb, because he had another spirit with him, and
hath followed me fully, him will I bring into the land whereinto he
went; and his seed shall possess it.
25 (Now the Amalekites and the Canaanites dwelt in the valley.)
Tomorrow
turn you, and get you into the wilderness by the way of the Red sea.
26 And the Lord spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,
27 How long shall I bear with this evil congregation, which murmur
against me? I have heard the murmurings of the children of Israel, which
they murmur against me.
-
They didn't believe God, they rejected God.
-
God is saying, how long do you want Me to listen
to them, which they murmur against Me
28 Say unto them, As truly as I live, saith the Lord, as ye have spoken
in mine ears, so will I do to you:
-
Verse 2, They wished they would of died in the
land of Egypt!
-
Jeremiah 23:33 And when this people, or the prophet, or a priest, shall ask thee,
saying, What is the burden of the LORD? thou shalt then say unto them,
What burden? I will even forsake you, saith the LORD.
-
34 And as for the prophet, and the priest, and the people, that shall
say, The burden of the LORD, I will even punish that man and his house.
-
They blamed God.
29 Your carcases shall fall in this wilderness; and all that were
numbered of you, according to your whole number, from
twenty years old
and upward, which have murmured against me,
-
God told them, they would die in the wilderness,
because they have murmured against me.
-
Twenty years old and upward, which have murmured
against me,
30 Doubtless ye shall not come into the land, concerning which I sware
to make you dwell therein, save Caleb the son of Jephunneh, and Joshua
the son of Nun.
-
Caleb and Joshua was the only one that did not bring a
false report
-
Joshua stood up for Caleb
31 But your little ones, which ye said should be a prey, them will I
bring in, and they shall know the land which ye have despised.
32 But as for you, your carcases, they shall fall in this wilderness.
-
God said, No land for this people. they will die
in the wilderness
33 And your children shall wander in the wilderness forty years, and
bear your whoredoms, until your carcases be wasted in the wilderness.
-
Your children shall wander in the wilderness
forty years
34 After the number of the days in which ye searched the land, even
forty days, each day for a year, shall ye bear your iniquities, even
forty years, and ye shall know my breach of promise.
-
God's plan was to bring Israel in the promise
land
-
We are born with free will, it's up to you, God
needs to know if you love Him.
-
Verse 2- They rejected God, and wanted to go
back into Egypt.
-
40 is the number of probation
35 I the Lord have said, I will surely do it unto all this evil
congregation, that are gathered together against me: in this wilderness
they shall be consumed, and there they shall die.
-
The people gathered against Me, this is why they
will die in the wilderness
36 And the men, which Moses sent to search the land, who returned, and
made all the congregation to murmur against him, by bringing up a
slander upon the land,
-
They lied about the promised land and cause the
people to have unbelieve
-
God had promised them the victory, they didn't
believe God
37 Even those men that did bring up the evil report upon the land, died
by the plague before the Lord.
-
They brought a false evil report upon the land
-
Men that did bring up the evil report upon the
land, died.
-
Because they mislead God's children.
It does not matter what you put in front
of your name, if you mislead God's children, God's going to correct you.
-
Jeremiah 23:1 Woe be unto the pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep
of my pasture! saith the LORD.
38 But Joshua the son of Nun, and Caleb the son of Jephunneh, which were
of the men that went to search the land, lived still.
39 And Moses told these sayings unto all the children of Israel: and the
people mourned greatly.
40 And they rose up early in the morning, and gat them up into the top
of the mountain, saying, Lo, we be here, and will go up unto the place
which the Lord hath promised: for we have sinned.
-
It's too late!!!
-
They still do not believe
-
What did God tell them in verse 34 After the
number of the days in which ye searched the
land, even forty days, each day for a year,
shall ye bear your iniquities, even forty years,
and ye shall know my breach of promise.
-
verse
35 I the Lord have said, I will surely do it unto all this evil
congregation, that are gathered together against me: in this wilderness
they shall be consumed, and there they shall die.
-
Verse
42 Go not up, for the Lord is not among you; that ye be not smitten
before your enemies.
41 And Moses said, Wherefore now do ye transgress the commandment of the
Lord? but it shall not prosper.
42 Go not up, for the Lord is not among you; that ye be not smitten
before your enemies.
-
God told them to go back, for He is not with
you
43 For the Amalekites and the Canaanites are there before you, and ye
shall fall by the sword: because ye are turned away from the Lord,
therefore the Lord will not be with you.
-
Because you have turned away from the Lord, He
will not be with you.
-
What did God tell them?
-
Verse 3 And wherefore hath the Lord brought us
unto this land, to fall by the sword, that our
wives and our children should be a prey? were it
not better for us to return into Egypt?
-
First they didn't believe God when God told them
to go into the promise land
-
Then they decided to go into
the promise land and God told them Not To Go,
and they went
44 But they presumed to go up unto the hill top: nevertheless the ark of
the covenant of the Lord, and Moses, departed not out of the camp.
-
Now they want to go and claim the land, but it's
too late.
-
God's already told them, I will not be with you.
45 Then the Amalekites came down, and the Canaanites which dwelt in that
hill, and smote them, and discomfited them, even unto Hormah.
-
Discomfited = # 3807 to bruise or violently
strike: crushed, destroy, discomfit, smite
-
Because God was not with them, because they did
not believe what God said.
-
Deuteronomy 1:44 And the Amorites, which dwelt
in that mountain, came out against you, and
chased you, as bees do, and destroyed you in
Seir, even unto Hormah.
45 And ye returned and wept before the Lord; but
the Lord would not hearken to your voice, nor
give ear unto you.
